Great atmosphere, very knowledgeable instructor, and friendly. I would highly recommend this yoga studio to anyone thinking about incorporating yoga into their fitness and health.

I have been going to Arden Yoga for about 6 months now, and from the first day I saw positive results. I am a two time heart transplant recipient, following my second transplant I suffered some complications and in turn ended up with a stroke, paralyzing the left side of my body. I did 3 months of physical therapy, relearning motor skills and how to walk again. It has been 3 years since my 2nd transplant, and if you saw me today you would never know any of this happened. However, I still had some lingering issues from my stroke and surgery. My left leg would continue to swell on a daily basis, causing pain and discomfort. The strength on my left side was not equal to my right, my balance was not where it was before and I could not get my posture correct with compensation to my right side for my weaker left. After the first week doing Yoga at Arden the swelling in my leg went away permanently, and after a month my posture was better than it ever had been. Though my physical therapy got me back to where I could physically walk without issue, the Yoga classes I took at Arden helped me get back to the point where I was before anything happened. The poses helped with my flexibility, while the different classes offered – Flow, Power, and Sculpt, helped rebuild my muscles in ways no other workout had been able to do. My balance and center of gravity, which I never thought was going to come 100% back, is better than when I was younger playing sports on a daily basis. The level of excellence with the instructors is unmatched, and the class environment makes the workout fun and enjoyable. Every class I take I continue to see improvements and I am glad to be a part of the Arden Yoga family.

After two private sessions with Kira, I am already in love with this place and this practice.
I am sharing my experience in hopes that it may inspire someone else who may need it. 🙂
I struggle with lifelong RA (rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease that attacks joints and other parts of the body). This morning was incredibly rough… I was really sick from my methotrexate treatment last night, having a painful flare all over and was beyond utterly exhausted. In fact, to the point I had convinced myself to just go back to sleep and wallow in my misery instead of coming to class.
At about ten minutes till 3, I just felt something inside say “GO.”
So, lacking all enthusiasm, I shuffled into the car in what I was wearing and came. I knew I’d be better for it, as much as I did not want to be there at the moment.
By the time we were about a third into the class, I’d forgotten all about my pain and stiffness and exhaustion, and was just lost in my body moving and feeling the breath move through me. In corpse pose at the end, I felt such incredible warmth, relief and love in my body that it nearly brought me to happy tears. It was an incredibly moving experience.
What really amazed me is that afterward, I felt high. My body literally buzzed with tingles, and I felt… hyper?! I came home and actually ran and played with the dogs in the back yard for the first time in months. I felt like I was flying.
Now, I’m sinking into a very rested, relaxed feeling that makes me grin ear to ear.
Today was a real breakthrough experience for me… one I will not soon forget. Thank you for the great introduction into this practice… I am thankful that you all are here, offering a beautiful place to practice, heal and grow. NAMASTE! 🙂
